“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1–2). Let us consider God’s instructions to us from His Holy Word. Recognizing God’s method of setting apart certain workers for specific areas of Christian service, we come to this moment of installation of these officers (and/or teachers) who have been properly chosen to serve in our church for the ensuing year. A covenant card should be provided for each. These may come forward and stand at the altar of the church, facing the minister. Following the singing of an appropriate hymn, let the secretary read the names and positions of the officers to be installed.
